WORLDPAC Training Institute (WTI) Discusses Aftermarket Training at NASTF Spring 2012 General Meeting

The National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF) held its annual Spring General Meeting in Palm Springs, CA on April 17, 2012 and the WORLDPAC Training Institute (WTI) was there to represent training in the aftermarket.

The meeting agenda included board and committee reports, updates on several NASTF initiatives and a panel discussion on new education and vehicle inspection initiatives.

The discussion about new education included a presentation titled the Challenges of Delivering High Quality Aftermarket Training which was authored and administered by the WORLDPAC Training Institute (WTI).

During the presentation Mark Warren, WTI Instructor and MOTOR magazine contributor, noted, "if the OEMs want aftermarket technicians trained to the best standards, then finding a mechanism to cooperatively share materials with the aftermarket is key." The presentation focused on how this could be done based on WORLDPAC’s goal and commitment of delivering the highest quality training into the aftermarket.
